Hello, my name is Yuna, and this is my seventh article about museums. I’d like to write about Musee d’Orsay in Paris. The museum was placed in the former Orsay railway station in the center of Paris on the Seine banks, opposite the Tuileries Gardens built for the Universal Exhibition of 1900. So the building itself could be noticed as the first “work of art” in the Musee d’Orsay. The national museum of the Musee d’Orsay opened to the public on 9 December 1986 to show the differences of artistic creation in the western world between 1848 and 1914.
A new route in the museum will also be able to review the general route within the museum and give it greater matches: On the 5th floor in a repaired gallery under the glass canopy, there is Impressionism (Manet, Degas, Monet, Cezanne, Renoir…), Post-Impressionism (Van Gogh, Gauguin, the school of Pont-Aven…) on the middle level, the side of the Rue de Lille, the large Nabi decors and foreign schools of decorative arts in the Payillon amount. This new display will be guaranteeing a better distribution of visitors. The columns gallery, rooms 42 to 46, devoted to Post-Impressionism, will be transformed into temporary exhibition rooms.

The education team provides lots of exciting activities to explore museum’s collections and exhibitions from painting to decorative art, and from sculpture to photography as a treasure hunter. If you want to know more, visit at www-musee-orsay.fr.
I was surprised to see the actual paintings right in front of me that I saw in my mother’s art album. I guarantee you that you are going to be using exclamation points in the end of your sentence. I hope that my explanation about the museum gave you more interest to visit the museum.
