[Review] Royal Culture Festival in Gyeongbokgung 2019.04.28 (Sun)
On April 28th, JOINUS KOREA invited foreign nationals to the "Royal Culture Festival" in Gyeonbokgung and was able to attend unforgettable unique royal cultual activities.
Gyeonbokgung is the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty and known as the largerst palace among the Five Grand Palaces in Seoul. On this day, we were able to experience the beautiful traditional melodies that delight our ear.
Our participants had experienced "Gwanghwamun Shin-Sandaenoli" which is Korean traditional mask dance, and "Sumunjang Rotation Ritual" which is the traditional ceremony that signals shift in Sumunjang. Sumunjang refers to the gatekeeper of the royal palace during the Josen Dynasty. After the festival, the visitors had chance to visit and explore around by themselves. Later, our volunteer team and foreign nationals went for dinner.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the festival and hope to see you in the next events.

Nice to meet you all ^^
