[이 한국어 통역 되나요?] EP.05: CAN YOU READ KOREAN SIGNS? 🇰🇷👀

조인어스코리아 2026. 9. 17. 17:00

Hello JK Korean learners! 👋

Until now, 「이 한국어 통역 되나요?」 has explored Korean expressions and the cultural meanings behind them.

Starting with this episode, we’re taking a slightly different approach! ✨

Instead of focusing only on the cultural meaning of Korean expressions, we’re introducing the Korean you actually encounter in everyday life in Korea — through images.

Why? Because sometimes, seeing Korean in a real-life context can help you understand it more easily and naturally. 👀

From subway stations and escalators to museums, parking lots, and public places, Korean signs are everywhere.

You might recognize some of the words, but still wonder what the sign is trying to tell you. 🤔

For example:

👉 사진 촬영 금지 — “No Photography.”

👉 머리 조심 — “Mind Your Head.”

👉 출입 금지 — “No Entry.”

These expressions may look simple once you know them, but they’re the kind of Korean you’ll actually come across while exploring Korea. 🇰🇷

By connecting Korean expressions with real-life places and situations, we hope to make learning Korean more visual, relatable, and useful for your everyday experiences.

So next time you’re walking around Korea, take a closer look!

You might discover that Korean is all around you. 🔎✨

🌎 Have you ever seen a Korean sign that confused you at first?

🤔 Which Korean sign would you like us to explain next?

💬 What Korean expression have you learned from real life in Korea?

Tell us your experience in the comments! 👇
