Today's phrase is : "손에 장을 지진다"
It means same as the "I will eat my hat." 👒 👄
This is one of the most useful Korean Proverb that implies confidence that some situation will never happen. '장'means sauce, and '지진다'means panfry something. When making '장', you need to panfry beans or some seasoning very long time. 🔥
Imagine using your hand to make this '장', it is pretty ominous 😨 In other words, when saying this proverb, you mean that you are confident to the point where bear that pain of making '장'.
